Care Networks

APSO works closely with ALS patients and families in establishing caregiving networks that assist with the many tasks required to care for an individual with ALS. We work to coordinate with family and friends, along with associated churches, workplaces, civic, and other organizations with whom families are associated.

We bring these volunteers together, educate them on the basics of the disease, show them the kinds of help they can provide, train them, and then assist them in setting up an online network where they can schedule their commitment for certain tasks or assignments. We are then available at all times to answer questions, offer advice, or help with technical issues.
